Bouboek ("build book" in Afrikaans) is a construction site diary, snag list and progress-photo app concept for South African contractors, site managers, foremen, subcontractors and their clients. On site, a tablet app keeps the daily diary (weather, labour by trade, plant, deliveries, delays and instructions), pins photos and snags to a grid reference on the plan, assigns snags to subcontractors with due dates and works offline until the signal comes back. The office gets an all-sites dashboard with programme against progress, open snags by subcontractor, a delays log and a weekly client report builder, and clients sign off each snag on their phone at handover, in English, Afrikaans or isiZulu.
